You will receive the "Instructions to the Subconscious Mind" and choose a "cue word", which is any word you want to use that is uplifting to you. Then we do some groundwork. We will do a short cuing session so you're ready to make changes! If you have trauma history we will do a Safe Place Containment visualization and cuing. If you have worked through strong trauma history, you may need to focus on that for some weeks. (In that case, please work with a licensed therapist who does BSFF.)
Then I like to do something called the SEP (Subconsciously Enhanced Presence) process, also known as the Orientation process. This is a script you'll cue with to help you be grounded, centered, and present. You will then choose a cue word to use when you specifically want to be in that state. I say this word several times a day! I wake up and cue the word, and I just say it throughout the day because I feel just that, grounded, centered, present, oriented, clear, etc. That may take up the time of the first session. I feel like this is so helpful, I'm happy to discount this session. Just ask me!
(If there is more time, we can start working on some global "issues" that are helpful to clear as a foundation to moving forward. These are just basic concerns that almost all people have as part of life. Clearing these is like laying the foundation of a house. It gives us a good strong starting point.)
I use my SEP Orientation cue word throughout the day, every day! I worked at a school with students that had quite a bit of trauma, so as I would counsel with students, using the SEP cue word (silently) really helped me to stay grounded, present, balanced, and clear. For those who feel "off", this experience can be beautifully expansive, and they may want to practice the SEP Orientation script every day for awhile while cuing.
In fact, some with mental health challenges have found that saying their SEP Orientation cue word with 5 minutes of diaphragmatic breathing twice a day helps them stave off big mood swings. So this can be very powerful.

Thoughtful, quiet place
