ACE Consideration
Adverse childhood experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic experiences that occur in childhood (0-17 years). If you had more than 3 ACEs during your childhood that you have not worked through with a licensed therapist, I encourage you to see a licensed therapist who does both BSFF and EMDR. Please do not sign up for services if you have 3 or more of the following experiences, or if you have an untreated, active mental health challenge or a mood disorder. (Although BSFF can help with these conditions, you should see a licensed mental health therapist.). Experiences below are considered to be ACEs.
* Experienced violence, abuse, or neglect, or witnessed your loved ones experiencing it.
* Had a family member attempt or die by suicide.
* Grew up in a household with substance abuse or mental health problems, parental separation, family member in jail or prison, homelessness or unstable housing, food insecurity.
Adverse Childhood Experiences
I want to make sure you are getting the help you need. Be Set Free Fast is gentle, safe, and powerful. Still, if you have several ACEs that have not been worked through with an appropriate therapist, I cannot meet with you.
