More About Be Set Free Fast
Be Set Free Fast (BSFF) was developed by Dr. Larry Nims. It works with the subconscious mind, the field of intention, and consciousness. If taking a BSFF training for CE credit, it's called "Psychodynamic Cognitive-behavioral Somatosensory Therapy." Doing BSFF can be very calming. For many people it feels like a combination of Mindfulness (utilizing somatic awareness) and cuing the subconscious mind, in a process similar to hypnosis, but the client is very alert and aware. Sometimes BSFF is so gentle that changes are quiet but deep, and the person will notice things changing in their life for the better. Other times, a person can have dramatic change that is very noticeable immediately. Depending on what is being addressed, the experience can be life altering!
Dr. Nims chose to grow this method slowly, and sessions were around $500.00. Studies are expensive, and Dr. Nims did not try to publish studies. He focused on helping clients and training others in the method. In many ways, it is a well-kept secret. This is not intentional, but just an outcome of how long it takes for a method to be embraced in the psychological realm. Before Dr. Nims death, he asked Alfred Heath, MA, LPC, NBCFCH to assume the leadership and training of BSFF.
